Mamipoko Diapers ON SALE

My younger sisters asked me a few times, "How come married ladies are so attentive to SALE, DISCOUNT, and always pay attention to the diapers' pricing?!!"
Well, i told her. I did not understand as well that when i was a little girl. Mom would go to certain supermarkets to buy certain things only, and she always bought in bulk. I asked the same questions...
Now i understand, it's because some of the things that we consume a lot every day, eg: MILO, they normally have a fixed selling price. When there is a special discount of RM1 or less, of course mom would go for it, if you were buying 12 packets, you could save RM12!! isn't it a lot??

Well, of course super rich people out there won't bother, but to many people every single cent counts!
Now, that i am married and a mother, i am very sensitive to the price as well!
But, there are only 2 things that i pay attention at>>>> MAMIPOKO diapers & MAMIL GOLD milk powder!! Normally at RM52.80, when it is RM48 or less, what would you do??? Autumn needs 3 or 4 a month and imagine how much can i save???

 Paying for my 1 dozen of milk powder at the counter.

Normal price for the Mamipoko Diapers are RM37.90 per packet, it is fixed. There is only 1 shop at Tabuan Jaya is selling it at RM36.90, but i hate going to that rude and stupid shop! They always stopped people at the entrance, telling you that you have to leave your bag ant the counter outside!? What law is that?? Yea, well i know there are people who bring in Giant bags and steal things!! but, come on??!! Me? do i look like a thief? WTF! that's why i never want to go there and buy things.
So, back to Mamipoko.... Whenever there is a special discount or sale, they would publish in the newspaper! Mamipoko: RM37.90, now only RM32.99.

Shopping for Autumn's MAMIPOKO again, coz it's cheap!

Wow! It's on sale! Then i would rush to that supermarket and buy as many as possible, normally 6 packets, and it can last about 2 months. Well, almost every month or every 2 months, there will be discount at different places. You just have to pay attention to the news advertisements on Friday or Saturday when your stock level is low....

That's what i do.... you'll save RM30 each time when you buy 6 packets! isn't it a lot???
LOL...Bare with me, i'm a housewife!!! That is what we will pay attention to... :)

Autumn got her Floats

Yeah! I finally bought Autumn her swimming accesories, floats for her arms, and a smart float for he to sit inside.

I got this this Smart Float for only RM49.90 at Arena in The Spring.

Autumn was so excited that she wanted to open up and seek how does the floats look like...

The normal float has only 1 layer, and children have to hang in there with their arms. It is pretty dangerous, as when they lift their arms, they might just slip into the water.This type of float is totally different, it has 2 layers. The outer part is with the standard float size, but they have another layer of inside for the baby to sit inside. So, it is like float in the float!

Oh... we need to blow it to be able to see..

Mommy will blow the smaller ones for the arms..

Daddy will have to blow the big float..

Finally, testing testing! Yeah! Autumn has her floats on!

I wanted to bring her to the pool and beach at Damai on Saturday. We went. But, she didn't get the chance to use it.
Why? I will talk about it in my next entry... it's really tiring...

Good bottle encourages baby to drink plain water

Yesterday, i decided to buy Autumn another drinking bottle.
This is Nuby's Flip-it Sports sipper, which is only RM29.90. It is non-spill so i won't worry about Autumn holding the bottle by herself, playing with it while drinking from it...

The other bottle, "Tommy Tippee" brand is also non-spill. But, there are parts which are very hard to clean. Ans sometimes it is too air-tight that Autumn has the difficulty in sucking the water. Furthermore, this one is RM38.90 which is more expensive than the Nuby.

Well, I just recalled. I actually bought Autumn a Nuby bottle last year, unfortunately we lost it on our trip to Cameron Highlands in December. That poor little bottle, she was with us for less than 2 weeks but got lost so far far away... :(

Autumn is loving her new bottle, and she is experimenting on it. How to open? How to close? Hmmmmm...
Well, my baby is always very easy when it comes to drinking plain water. The teachers always tell me that, the other children always have difficulties in drinking plain water. But, Autumn always drink a lot, and she finishes the water pretty fast as well.

Look at her, she is drinking happily from her new bottle.
Other than her milk, I always let her drink only plain water. Before she was 1 year old, i realised that she always wanted to drink from her milk bottle by sitting upright or standing up. That was why i decide to buy her a sipper bottle since then, to encourage her to drink more water.

Talking about water... What water do i let my baby drink?? I don't boil water. I just installed a water filter which produces "PI" water. Autumn loves drinking the "PI" Water!!
maybe i will tell you more about the goodness of the "PI" water in future!

My baby wants to "play"

Last week when i picked Autumn from school, she would hold my hand and led me towards the side.
"Mommy, play.. play..."

At first i was kinda blurred and wondered where was she dragging me...
Oh, she wanted to play with me...
Yea, my girl is starting to enjoy playing certain things..

I normally let her try to explore things, playing is a fun and easy way to learn!! (provided if i am not in a rush!)
You can say all the verbs or nouns and explain to her while she is doing certain actions or touching certain things... She can pick up really fast when she is in a happy mood....
